Battle between London Stock Exchange and Nasdaq reaches climax

LONDON: The immediate fate of the London Stock Exchange PLC will be decided Saturday, the deadline for shareholders to accept the Nasdaq Stock Market Inc.'s hostile 2.7 billion pound (US$5.3 billion; €4.1 billion) takeover bid.
