Norilsk and Inco eyeing Talvivaara Mining - report
StoryNorilsk Nickel, the listed Russian metals company and Canadian miner Inco have expressed interest in the Finnish mining group Talvivaara Mining. This information came was reported in Kommersant, which referred to wire reports. Talvivaara holds licenses to develop the Talvivaara nickel filed and seeks a co-investor for the construction of a EUR 350m worth mine. To finance the project, Talvivaara plans to offer a part of its shares on LSE, hoping to gain EUR 100m.
